In this MetaMask wallet review, we take a look at the MetaMask decentralized web wallet. The most used Web3 wallet in the world. That can be used for any EVM-compatible blockchain out there. MetaMask is a great wallet for using anything Web 3.
Design
The white and open design of the MetaMask wallet gives it a not fairly clean look. Because the wallet supports the full power of any EVM blockchain, giving it a lot of functions. So to keep it simple we will focus on the main screen for sending and receiving transactions. Here you find a Token and NFT tab that lets you easily add any token or NFT. Just simply add the Contact address or ID to add any token & NFT to your wallet. Sending and receiving is quite easy as there is just a button for doing so on the front tab. Besides that, there is also a direct button that lets you buy Ether, or swap between tokens.
Backups
The reason MetaMask is used so much these days is mostly because it lets users connect to a variety of Dapp’s. You can do this by either connecting MetaMask to a Dapp’s website. But there is also the option to use the Dapp browser (if you use the MetaMask wallet on mobile). In this Dapp browser, you will find Dapps for many things such as trading, playing games, and earning interest.

Improvements
Like every other Wallet out there, MetaMask has flaws and missing things. The flaws that we point out are of course based on our personal opinion and we would like to point out that they don’t always have to be a hindrance to anyone.
MetaMask has become one of the most used Web3 wallets out there mostly because they made it simple to connect to any Dapp. However, as this is its greatest strength it is also the point it could most improve on. The whole Web3 ecosystem is still very difficult to use for newcomers as they have a lot to learn before they can really get started. As one of the leaders in the space, we hope MetaMask will improve its UX more by removing as many technical details as possible. So more and more new people can seemingly get into crypto.
Conclusion
MetaMask is such a popular and successful EVM wallet but has still room to improve when it comes to crypto newbies. Looking at how the wallet works and having used this wallet ourselves quite a lot. And we are eager to see how MetaMask will improve even more in the future. So we think MetaMask shouldn’t deserve anything less than 5 stars.
